Finally, you put up an image as a red herring to somehow refute how the Phi or the basis for the Golden Section, Ratio or Mean, The Golden ratio, or The Golden proportion does not apply to what appears to be a sedimentary rock that was shaped:
The process of shaping this rock most certainly took place in water. Water caused the erosion to this rock and made claim to the shape we observe in this image. This takes place through a number of processes, one of those is this:
That is a water vortex spiral, a large one so that it can be very clearly identified . And yes this vortex water spiral follows Phi or the basis for the Golden Section, Ratio or Mean, The Golden ratio, or The Golden proportion. Over the centuries 1000s of very small water vortex spirals are produced natually over the surface of this rock and this works debris and sands over the surface to create the shape you see today. Thus the original rock was perhaps not directly a process of Phi or the basis for the Golden Section, Ratio or Mean, The Golden ratio, or The Golden proportion but the very water that shaped it followed this process to a great degree.
This is also the process at work in the shape we see here:
We live in this Fibonacci Spiral we call ours the Milky Way. You can subscribe to a "Flat earth" concept that we do not live in this Fibonacci Spiral, but if you look deep enough you will find this in every part of the sky. This galaxy also formed the very rock you used to try to discredit the process that billions of years formed the very structures we are surrounded by. They are every place when you look up. We live in the Milky Way, a Fibonacci Spiral. This means our very home is the proof you are looking for.Comment downvoted • 0:24 on Wed May 02 2012
